A CI Starter Package provides you with basic CI materials -- logo, letterhead, envelope and business card -- ready for customization and printing (or use in electronic media), without the cost of graphic development and without delay.  A CI Starter Package is a quick and affordable way to present your business professionally.
 

The CI Starter Package files (uncustomized logo, letterhead, envelope & business card designs) presented in the Identity Shop range from approximately $35 - $40 USD per package with new designs being added constantly.  To inquire about a particular design price, please contact CIS with the Item Number.  Or, complete our CI Customization form; we'll include the cost of your selected design in our bid.  Customization of your CI materials based upon your selected package is an additional, affordable charge as outlined in our CI Starter Package Customization pricing.

The CI designs can be customized as much or as little as you like.  There is no limit, but the most common changes are color swaps and incorporation of your business name and slogan.  Our affordable customization costs are outlined in our CI Starter Package Customization pricing list.  If you have very unique needs, you may wish to consider a Unique Logo, designed specifically and exclusively for you.
 

Yes.  The CI designs in the Identity Shop are non-exclusive, allowing us to offer them at very affordable prices.  In the design Details, you'll see a Downloads number indicating how many times that design has been purchased in the past.  When you use CIS's customization services, your logo can be customized to reflect your company name, slogan, and preferred colors to make it specific to your business.

If you're interested in a completely unique design or are concerned with registering your logo to gain exclusive rights to its usage, CIS offers two options:

1. Contact CIS with your logo ideas and we'll bid a completely Unique Logo project for you which does not use any of the Identity Shop designs as the basis.  Your logo (and CI materials, if wanted)  will be completely custom from start to finish and will be exclusive to you.  All CIS Unique Logo projects will provide you with a fully scalable vector version of your logo as well as raster versions.  Costs are outlined on our Pricing page.
    

2. Select a design from the Design Library with zero downloads and pay a Unique Price for the design.  If you choose the Unique Purchase option, it guarantees that you are the last person to buy the design.  After the exclusive purchase occurs the design is permanently removed from the directory and is never available to other customers again. Unique Prices average $150 USD.  Contact CIS with the Item Number for specific pricing and purchasing information.  Note that not every CI Starter Package is available for a Unique Purchase, and customization is additional as outlined in our CI Starter Package Customization pricing.

Yes.  If you accept the color scheme "as is", you would not pay for any color customization.

CIS will send your final customized files as JPG, GIF and PSD (raster formats). If you're additionally interested in a fully-scalable vector version of your logo, contact CIS for vector development.

Raster images use a grid of small squares to represent images. Each square, or pixel, has a specific location and color value. Raster images contain a fixed number of pixels and are therefore resolution-dependent.

Vector images are made of lines and curves defined by vectors. These mathematical objects describe graphics according to their geometric characteristics. Due to the mathematical nature of vector images, they can be resized without losing image clarity.

If you wish to purchase only  the design source files, without any CIS customization services, you may.  Contact CIS with the Item Number for pricing and purchasing information.

Once you've chosen your CI Starter Package and have reviewed our customization pricing, complete the CI Customization Form.  The cost of the design and customizations will be itemized in the bid we will submit to you.  You'll have the opportunity to approve or reject that bid.  If accepted, CIS will customize the package as agreed upon, sending you watermarked proof images via email that you may review and approve.  Prior to sending your final customized CI files, CIS will issue your invoice.  Upon receipt of the payment, we'll email you all the files with the watermark removed.
